Overview
I am a historian of modern Europe. Thematically, I am interested in conceptions of internationalism, state legitimacy, and transnational cooperation and institutions. My previous research has dealt with topics including Austro-Slavist political thought, romantic nationalism in Eastern-Central Europe, and Czech-German interactions during the first half of the 20th century.
Prior to coming to Cornell, I worked for the International Relations Office at Charles University’s Faculty of Arts helping to administrate the East and Central European Studies program
At Cornell, I primarily work with Cristina Florea and Nicholas Mulder.
